All the studying is over. All the tests have followed. And now the holidays have come. I've got 12 days. And yes, I counted ;) 12 days to cherish with family and friends, and to vacation and to party before I start classes again and have to face my exam results. Sigh Sigh Sigh. Remind to self-pray during the 12 days. And results are out on the first day of classes. How convenient.

I have been neglecting my blog. Well, it's pretty obvious I'm not an avid blogger. So please try to understand.

Chinese New Year's closing in. Before that would be a whole lot of spring cleaning( yes, I do clean wtf), munching on cookies and keropok hoping not to get sick by cny, last minute shopping, welcoming the S'pore relatives, etc etc. Then the yearly tradition starts- reunion dinner, angpows, gambling, visiting; you know the drill. The exception this year-V Day! in which I will be celebrating with a reunion dinner. No date this year.

I have been doing a fair share of reading too. Believe it or not, it's in my resolutions list to read (first time ever writing the list) and to read x number of books by the end of the year. Lol I know. But I used to take a year to read a book. So yea not so lol anymore. Currently, my reads are;

Both very good books. And even though I have watched My Sister's Keeper and did cry ;( , the book's still worth a read. And you know the book's always better than the movie. So I'm gonna appreciate it. I'll review them once I'm done with them.

Haha. The first time I heard it; it really made no sense with the 'rarara' and 'oolala'. Then I watched the video clip-it was really funny to me though Gaga did look freakkyy in the bath tub looking all dolly. And now, the song was nothing more than addictive especially the rarara part. LOL. Plus did you notice how many product placements there were in the MV? So that's how artists of today are making money since everyone decided to stop buying cds and dload everything and anything. Good idea really.

This is just awesome. The music, the mv, the lyrics-and I'm still trying to understand the meaning of the song. And when Riri said she wanted to be dark, that's what we all got alright. Very intense and dark and and deeep and just intense. She really has stepped up.

So, I've been feeling awfully unhealthy these past months. With absolutely NO exercise (seeing I stopped my gym membership), eating whatever and whenever and bumming around; it's really time I do something about it. I thought of running laps but then I just have that feeling that I won't push myself hard enough to get the results I want. So now I've got a new idea-yoga! Been there, done that-I so can do it all over again. This time more seriously. And maybe try pilates and I've got goals too :)

Further, I may be able to regain the calmness I need with the overstressed life with studies and my family. So there, a getaway from reality.

Now to find a yoga class that meets my budget, etc. I've been checking out Beyoga. But it's in Damansara-kind of far for me but the place looks gorgeous and they've got all sorts of classes and dedicated teachers. Any other recommedations? I would really appreciate it.

I'm trying very very hard not to hate you. You should be the last person I'm supposed to hate. And frankly, I'm better than this-having to hate. But you're just being bitter. With so many life experiences and considering your age, I don't think you turned out great. You just went downhill and never bothered to climb up again. And to think I have you as my role model and my person to look up to. Many times, I wish otherwise.

You pick fights, you point out everything unnecessary and blame blame blame, you point out problems and more problems but never bother to resolve them. It's never anything positive with you. And I'm not exagerrating here ok. What's the point of all this? So that you can brood and self pity and regret over almost everything possible? I find that just utterly bitter. Why live like this? And the fact that you only point out my flaws and mistakes, no wonder you can't stand me-cause you never saw any achievements or good things I do. And your mistakes, etc-they just don't seem to exist ( according to you).

Imagine you are everything I don't want to be and restrain to be. What a great role model you turned out to be huh. And as a parent, you failed to guide, to motivate, to support, to understand and to teach. Other than providing the necessities, you did not put any effort in anything more.

You never bothered. Why should I?

I really am glad I forgave and forgot.
I would be in a much better position today if you didn’t happen.
But I can’t ask for too much.
I get that things happen for a reason. And it already has so I can't undo that.
But I can change the outcome. Change my perspectives and emotions and myself. They’re all within my control.
And I have amended as much as I can so far. And I’m very sure I’m better off today with the fact that I learn to forgive.

I’ve read somewhere; you have to forgive the person who hurt you, no matter what he/she has done. Not for the opposite party but for yourself. Because when someone hurts you, they take power over you and if you don’t forgive them, you’re letting them keep that power.

So be the better person, forgive. Yes it takes time to really to that-depending on how much the damage is. But it’s not impossible. Trust me.

Independence has been ours for a long time now yet are we truly independent? Pixie Lott, who was recently here for the MTV World Stage-she's one singer you have to check out. Only 18 years old, pretty adorable and I have to admit; very talented. She was nicknamed Pixie by her mum coz she was tiny and cute as a baby and somewhat looked like a fairy. Anyways, her new album "Turn It Up"-named because she wants people to turn it up, turn the vibe up, turn everything up! Haha. It worked for me.

One more thing I found-Poladroid! *click* IT turns your pics into polaroids like how it would work in real life-now just virtually. You can actually see your pic 'develop' on your comp screen which I find pretty cool. Check it out seriously. Dim sum brunch at the Eest at Westin last Sunday. It was all good considering you pay more than enough for the dishes they serve there. I didn't take many pics since I was concentrating more on the food. Here are some;

Classes start again today. But! today the lecturer decided to make us wait one hour foe her and then tell us class is cancelled coz she is sick. Like you don't know you were sick earlier? Seriously WTF. Go all the way to coll, wait for an hour and have no class. Serious waste of time. And guess what-replacement's tomorrow from 5.30PM to 9.30PM. I hate her already.

So finally we went to catch 'The Proposal'. I'll review it later. Generally romantic comedy, duh.

I'm gonna study now seeing I 'holiday' more than ever everyday.

Isn't that just pure adorable??? It's your very own "little pony". Stumbled upon it on dlisted.com. It's Koda! Apparently it's a dwarf pony-only 23 inches tall and is pretty much the size of a cat. His size is due to some sickness and still faces medical problems with his legs and stuff. But nevertheless, he's a strong one and still hanging out there. :)

PT2’s over and done with. Though I still still have Audit to go. Long story. Something I’m not proud of and I don’t plan to repeat it. But I’ll be doing it on Tues.

So after exams yesterday, we went to the Bazaar at 3K Inn to be early birds. I somehow just can’t get stuff. But the bestie had a listt and did get some stuff! Sorry I was so impatient-lack of sleep thus the crankiness.

Then dinner at Ole-Ole Bali yesterday @ Solaris. The environment was better than the food. Haha. So the environment compensated for the food, agree? Anyways, Solaris is much better place compared to a few months back. With eateries like Michelangelo (my all time fav), Tenji, some bars here and there; it’s a pretty good hang out place. There’s also this place-Boston. Kind of in between a ‘club n restaurant’. Check it out sometime!

For the next few weeks, it’s gonna be crucial :(- I’ve to think hard about the papers I want to take. I feel like dropping one paper. I’m not coping well and all this studying is becoming really sickening. Let’s put it this way; if you are going to undertake something-let it be your best. If not; to me there’s not much a point to it. So I would have to figure out all the pros n cons and ask 21386837 people’s opinions. Let’s hope I make the right decision.

On another note, I’m proud owner of a new bakery! Haha. Ok my dad’s a shareholder. So I should be considered as a 'part' owner of a bakery right? ;) It’s my cousin’s dream and my dad pitched in. It’s opening soon! And it’s called Bienestar Cottage. :)

It’s been LONG since I had a decent post. A lot has happened since my Aussie trip and I did everything else except blog. It’s losing its significance; I have to admit. Now, sitting by my desk & curled up in my comforter, I’m trying to reminisce as much as I can so that I actually have blogging material to show you people.

Ok. I can’t find the cable for my hard disk. So I’ve got no pictures to show you.

Let’s just talk about recent things alright. My results came on Mon. Scarry shit. I actually left class early and went over to Rach’s to wait for results on her super slow comp. But we got it anyways & I passed all. Last sem’s impact is much bigger. There’s so many who failed 1/2/3 papers. SUckkkyy…

Uni’s becoming a bore. Very monotonous and nerdy =/ and I’m trying my best to keep up.

I’m blank. I’ll just type random stuffs alrite.

-my bestie walked all the way to my house coz apparently she was 'running away' from home. 40 minutes to my place at 11 at night. O.o

-I’ve went over over over my spending limit in Sydney so now I can’t buy stuffs. Its like not allowed. But I still senak some stuffs now n then. SIGH…

-For my progress tests, I slept probably 4 hours each night for 3 or 4 days and till now -----I’m still sleep deprived. I never had the chance to sleep for 12 hrs straight yet. :) coz somehow something will just get in the way.

-I wanna travel around the world.

-I wanna quit my course and do sth else like psychology. It was something I considered alongside actuarial science and did neither. And ended up in this crazy crash course which is a son of a bitch to people who have short attention spans like me. Kind of a bit too late to regret now.

-I use this lotion which I got from aus which is actually made from goat’s placenta. Gross; I know. I was reluctant to use it at first but I kinda love it right now…it does make your skin smoother and I’m obsessed with my skin. :P

-It’s raining right now. Therefore a very good time to be sleeping. And if you were sleeping right now, good for you!

-Did you hear about the 13 yr old boy who had a baby with his 15 yr old gf? And he said that he will take good care of the kid. I kinda doubt that. He can’t fully take care of himself and now he has to care for a baby. I wish the baby luck.

-Bride Wars was actually nice to watch & I cried. Haha. Watch it with your best friend if you haven’t watched it. It’ll mean more. ;)

-I need more clothes! Ugh..

-I’ll tell you a secret that I just realized. I tend to lean over to guys who are taken. I’m sorry, I really don’t mean to. But I’m not boyfriend-stealing alright. & I'm trying to fix it.

I should try to sleep. Make better use of my time. Don’t know when my next post will be seeing how lazy I’ve become! Haha. Toodles! Have a great week ahead!

Finally, it’s Christmas and soon 2008 will come to an end. Pretty quick how it all flies by. Another year to conquer and another year to add to our memories; good and bad. 2008 wasn’t particularly memorable or impeccable; it was just any other year. Yea there were the good and bad times but all in moderation. And yes there were things which I would want to change, mend, re-do, fix, anything just to change it. But we know it’s almost impossible to. And there were the wishes and resolutions that never made it & which were never fulfilled. I’m good at complaining aren’t I? Just doing some reflecting on 2008 and it’s human nature to focus on the negative things. Not like I’ve forgot about the better. It’s close to heart, no worries.

…..moving on. She was right. I wanted to change you into someone who you weren’t. people say a leopard doesn’t change its spots. I never believed in it fully. I still don’t, even after you. The story’s getting old. I’m just tired. Too much time wasted on this. I’m trying to get up and move on but it’s not as easy as it seems. I don’t know where to start and the road can get lonely at times. I try to be brave and endure all that passes by but it’s tough alright. I’m trying to pick up the million and one shattered pieces but it’s everywhere. I’m very very lost.

I'm not hurt, really. That part's long gone. I just want to move on. It’s not that I don’t want to. I’m really trying. I want to. But something’s preventing me. I don’t know what. I’ve tried to fight it. So many times. Too many to count. I’ve picked up after myself countless times. But it’s never the same. I’m finding for my old self. The one deep down buried inside of me.

I’m afraid that might never happen. And that's when I'll lose my way. That’s the scary part. I don’t know when all this will end.

Ok. Pretty pointless post. Just needed to express myself. It’s okay if you don’t get it.

I'm realllyyyy good at procrastinating. It’s a natural talent. This post was supposed to be done on Thurs and I’m only doing it now. Thought I’d do some updating since I’ve been so occupied for the exams and will be in Aus for the next 2 weeks.

I’ve been packed. Hardly ever home since the exams. It’s called celebration, baby. Been busy catching up with friends, Christmas shopping, sleeping, movies, and catching up with my own shopping. Probably been a month or so since I did some decent shopping. MNG sale was on Thurs, plus it was a public holiday for Selangor. Thus, totally sesak in MNG. Crazy lines for the changing room. Quite a turn off really. Didn’t buy their clothes. Got a pair of skinnies and I left.

Movies~!!! Watched a tonne....

It’s been a week now. Post exams are; well, better. Much better. Being able to sleep at 6 in the morning and sleep for unlimited hours; to go out at anytime for as long as I want; to do anything other than study is BLISS. And this would be for 3/4 weeks. So you can bet your ass I’m going to cherish these few weeks of hols.

Well, I’m leaving for Australia in 2 days? Time flies. And that phrase never ever gets old. 2 whole weeks there and our itinerary is all set up and emailed to us. We’ve got efficient relatives. Heh. Would be in Sydney most of the time and 2 days in Canberra. Leaving for S'pore tomorrow and I'll depart from there to Sydney. Thanks to Msia Airlines which were out of tickets and Spore's much cheaper ;). And I'll be back only after New Years. Countdown in S'pore! Wanna join me? =o)

Met up with the bestie yesterday before I leave tomorrow. And, to give her Bunny to baby-sit. I miss Bunny alreadly. Haha…didn’t have the time to announce a new member in the family. Guess I’ll do it now? Mellie gave me bunny in October I think. (I’ve been wanting one forever but Dad didn’t want it) And she’s adorabbblllleeee~!!!!! Thnx bestie.

Hmmm…she eats a lot. Shit a lot. I’ve to clean her shit 3 times a week? Sigh…a lot of work but other than that, adorable! You can never get enough of her. :o)

Moving on. We went to this pretty little place in Niu Ze Xui-Fullhouse. Food’s okay but it’s a nice spot.

It was voluntary and yes; it was probably done for some reason.
Nevertheless, you’re in control of yourself. So I would say that the blame shouldn’t be allotted individually. You’ve gotta take responsibility for your own actions. And not everything will turn out as it was supposed to. We’re all different.

But what I’ve heard is that all you can do is hope that the other would understand how much you have gone through, pick up the pieces with you, love you more, hopefully sacrifice as much for you and move forward together.

But you gotta remember that’s all hope. No guarantee towards it.

And somehow despite all the nerding, I don’t wanna go for class tomorrow. Just don’t wanna-I think I’ve come to a point where I despise classes =/. Finally the weekend! & finally the hols. I've got a week! :o)

Trials are over. I'm sick. But I'm getting better. :) Been awhile since I got sick. Haha..

So i caught this on the first day it was out. O.o Haha! Never a fan of it but Zaixi asked to go and he's a FAN of it. LOL. It was okay..not really something I loved watching. But I knw the kids would love it! People even clapped at the end. Enthusiatic crowd really. Overall; drama, drama, drama and many more songs than the previous 2 shows.

Was supposed to watch House Bunny after that with another group of coll buds but I was starvingggg (it was 9 sth =/) so off we went to Pasta de Gohan. Jap pasta!

Home later then yamcha with the guys. That spelled Friday-post-trials!

LAW is the biggest, fattest pain in the ass. Maybe it isn’t for you but it is for me. Bloody ACCA decided that we should all memorize the WHOLE text of 400pgs of small print and vomit what you need on the exam day. Like for what? I bet half of us who tries to study it can’t even bother to understand it coz we’re all too busy trying to stuff it in our heads. And then, wait a few weeks, it’s all gone again. I believe this is the stupidest sub that they put in our syllabus. And one that just wastes our time. Memorizing first of all ain’t the best method of studying and to memorize; it is not like as if were gonna remember it in the near future so, WHAT'S THE POINT? Seriously.

11.59pm. Just in time before the day ends. Well, today was just fucked up. Ever had one of these days? Yea..it feels the same. Just fucked up all over.

So, how was your week? Busy? Assignments overloading? Exams coming? Enjoying yourself? Well I know I’m not. I'm not coping well. Seems that uni needs much more time and commitment and endurance and time than I thought or rather than I had prepared for.

Actually I never really prepared myself for this. Much, much more effort needed. So, as a result, today- I. Am. Behind. -____- Things have got to change.

Was out with the bestie yesterday for super late lunch and movies and tutoring at her place. Was tutoring accounts…Been a while since I touched that subject even though my major is in accounting being in ACCA. LOL.
I was finishing my other half of my lunch while watching the movie. The gory-ness! The dude; Jake I think is sooo sick & twisted but a good laugh at some parts. Go watch! An hour and a half…it’ll be over even before you know it!

It was on 27th Sept. Had exams earlyyyy in the morning till 12 then had to rush my sleepy ass home for lunch then get ready then to the saloon then hurry to the convention center by 3. But I was still late..haha.

Hello!

Last week was packed-updates soon; I promise. So, I’ve been working on the new template. Finally found one that I can work with. It’s not exactly done but I’m tired and it’s late. I’ll touch up another time. And if you realized, the blog’s got a new address! It’s not official yet-I’m still thinking of names. Tell you when I finally think of one. I actually wanted to incorporate the new template into the old blog; but somehow, somewhere, I changed my mind. Quite unplanned.
